Henry flies as quickly as he can. He has to get to Odym before Avalon makes a huge mistake. If he's heading to Odym, that means he's going to do something with his ring.
He likely intends to give it up.
Dammit... I seriously screwed things up. He considers how he could have been so blind as to hurt Avalon so badly that he's come to this... and he considers how he can make it up to him.
The idea of a romance with Avalon isn't an unwelcome one. He hasn't had sex with Avalon, but he could see taking it slow with him. But it's the idea of a romance at all that seems such a strange concept for Henry.
He's never been one for a romance. He's been one for passion. For sex. Sure, he's been on dates, but it's never been anything serious. Just something to do for fun. Flirting as an appetizer before the main course, or, occasionally , an event unto itself.
But now Henry's torn. He's badly hurt Avalon, and he cares deeply for him. He could see himself with Avalon as his boyfriend.
But he could also see Josh as his boyfriend. And he could see Katima as his girlfriend.
Not that any of them particularly want him at the moment... but that doesn't matter at the moment. He needs to get them all together. He needs to lay all his cards out on the table. He needs to open up to them, and see what happens.
The idea terrifies him. But that's why he needs to do this. Green Lanterns overcome great fear.
Even, apparently, romantic terror.
