Tess listens and nods. "One plot point that we'd like help determining an angle on is that they will be after the location of resources ships that the evil but impressively clever --" she smiles, "--villainess has kept carefully hidden from all but a few. And there are two ways this can go."
Tess checks her notes again. "Option 1. Either Hopefully-Avia escaping princess or some handsome young scientist they have to actually rescue has the information, and the full attack begins once they have acquired those people. In the course of the whole escapade, the evil executive sics one of her extremely stylish lackeys, another advanced product of the eugenics system, on them. Superspeed laser sword duel ensues, until Jai kills the guy."
Tess switches cards. "Other option: there's no way to get the most crucial information except out of the villainess's top pilot, who also happens to be the twins' elder brother, born before their mother was rescued. They manage to find out where he is from the other characters and go to rescue him -- but the syndicate's mental conditioning is pretty impressive, and there's a long superspeed laser sword battle before our hero and heroine have any chance of convincing him to turn on his extremely clever and elegant oppressor."
She looks at the others. "As a plot element, it has its strengths and weaknesses."
