For the most part, Tomas takes after their father. He has, however, been firmly trained by their mother as far as an opinion of the Bats. She worked /so/ hard to get them past their restrictions against killing... and failed. And he's certainly not about to start going easy on the cartels. Nor the 'legitimate businessmen' who fund them. He's pretty sure the Bats would object to him assassinating Gotham businessmen.
"Maria? She's... beautiful. But also useful. She knows everyone. Within a couple of months, I should know who is the money behind a lot of the trade here in town."
