Riley sits back in his chair a little bit, fingers drumming on one knee as he thinks. "I don't have any real concerns about the whole Gotham factor, but..." He looks at Dinah, almost apologetically.
"I know there's been one time in particular where Dinah really had to understand how important it was not to interfere, but time travel is.." He lets out a sigh, thinking of when they had dressed up as Maria's dad and Dinah's mom. "Time travel has a lot of tough choices to make. Rip and Dad have trained me since I could walk to deal with that.
There's a part of me that doesn't want Dinah to have to make those choices in the first place, and... a small part that worries about if she had to. I'm sorry, honey." He apologizes to his fiancee.
