Josh's day was stressful as well. Being around so many new people, many with injuries and sicknesses he really wished he could heal but didn't was bad enough. But getting made fun of by a few older guys and having no classes with Henry, Ava, or Katima was worse. Sure he could sense them the whole day but it didn't stop him from worrying. And then there was the fight that wasn't really a fight because Josh a) never threw a punch and b) never got hit that ended with him taking the aggressor to the school nurse after he ended up hurting his hand punching a locker.
Now that the day was done, he couldn't get out the door fast enough. Backpack over one shoulder, Josh weaves through the crowd on his way to the agreed meeting spot. Sensing he won't be the first one there makes him speed up.
"Ava!" he calls as he sees the Lantern, rushing over.
