Time slows for Alerron. He sees Katima and he remembers Okara, and their time together, and wonders how she could be here now.
When she's struck by the soldier and collapses, Alerron feels the rage of X'Hal himself burn in his chest. He's tired of running from Blackfire, from Black Sun,tired of running in total.
X'Hal, protect your son.
Alerron runs toward the nearest merc and swings. Then something happens that he does not expect. Before he knows what's happened, he's standing face to face with Captain Fett, who blinks beneath the helmet at Alerron.
If Josh is watching, he'll notice that Alerron just crossed the distance between himself and the mercenaries as fast as Jon.
Alerron lashes out with a fist at Captain Fett, who narrowly avoids being killed in one fluid motion.
