Katima had to force herself not to laugh a little at Josh's expression when Alerron kissed him. Later, she'd explain to her friend what had just happened. She herself had been quite surprised when Alerron had done it to her what felt like lifetimes ago.
Stepping back to give room to Alerron and Josh, she moved closer to Avalon. No doubt he'd feel the wild swings of her emotions, from euphorically happy to confused to frightened all at once.
