All of the rambling strikes a chord in Avalon, and he brightens visibly. "Oh, you're half angel? That's fantastic!" he then says.Not waiting to see if Eli minds or not, Avalon slides into the tree, surprisingly nimble between the branches, even with his wings.
Once he's up a bit closer, he grins at Eli and says "When I was sent here by the Blue Lanterns, they told me that my wings were a consideration in their choosing of me because I resembled the Earthling angels." he presses a hand to his chest, "I am from Naltor - many sectors away in space. I never expected to meet one in person, I am honored."
