Always up early in the morning, Avalon was already up and about by the time Katima came down the stairs and decided to stay home. In fact, he was in the kitchen making hot cocoa for himself when he got the impression of.. confusion.. from the girl.
For whatever reason, he hadn't really gotten a lot of time with her. Between Lantern duties and school, it seemed that they only really saw one another in passing. Without even really thinking twice, Avalon decided to stick around after the other guys went off to school, and instead of making one hot cocoa, he made two.
Walking in from the kitchen, he gave Katima a shy little smile and said softly "You okay?"
