It falls before it reaches Jane. Her eyes went wide but she stays calm and when the young one appears she fires the shot.
It goes down quicker than the adults.
"I was lucky... Thanks." She tosses Mia a smile. Then painfully drops the emptied tranquilizer gun and holds her arm.
"The Mom and the squirt should be out for a few hours. Don't know about the Dad."
