A group of the bugs get too close to Pippi. Startled, she turns and blasts the nearest... which immediately turns around and pounces a couple others that are squabbling over a particularly choice patch of greenery - apparently she's turned it into some sort of bizarre bug relationship therapist.
A little more aware, she approaches a third while the one she blasted helps its fellows learn the virtues of sharing. The one she approaches calms and lowers itself as she pats its head and climbs onto its back.
"Hi Mr. Grasshopper. You're not cute at all, but you want to help me find the fluffy rhinos, right? Maybe if you jump really high I can see them."
