"Not all adults who go to malls are creepy. Where do you think our clothing comes from? Magic?" He rolls his eyes.
"I could get shoes. Need a new pair sort of. The ones I have are uh.... About to fall apart." He wiggles one foot and yes they do look kind of bad.
He frowns at Nic. "No leashes ever, please. I'm a grown man. Not a toddler or your pet mutt."
