Dinah had spent the better part of an afternoon getting the Bug ready for aquatic action. True, there was the T-Jet, but the Bug was already designed to function in a submerged environment and just needed a run down of its pressure seals and some reinforced plating.
It had the advantage, too, of manipulator arms and weapons the T-Jet did not. And it still had more than enough internal space for their needs.
