Her sword parries away his next two follow-up strikes and Damien finds himself surprised that she's managed to last the first two minutes with him. Few people can claim to have done so with him, and the only other person in this room who can do so is his sister Morgaine.
He backs off and brings his sword to the ready, taunting Lian into coming at him.
