Jai had had a nightmare of his own. He didn't wake up screaming, thankfully, but he was sweaty and his heart was racing. He sat up in bed with a start when he heard someone knocking on the door...they were here for him...they were going to take him away....
The frantic beating of his heart then slowed when he heard Iris's voice on the other side. Getting up and pulling his bathrobe on, Jai made his way to door, opening it. The first thing he noticed was his sister's panic face, her eyes full of fear.
"Iris? What happened? Are you okay, did something-" he pauses, letting her come in so he can close the door behind them. Putting an arm around her shoulder, he steered towards the direction of his bed, sitting her down on the edge.
"Iris?" he brushes a strand of her read hair out of her eyes. "What's the matter?"
