"I have a second idea, but it will require the aid of another mage." Cerdian says suddenly, standing up from his meditation.
"I may be able to lock down some of their power to keep them from bringing their full might against us. It will effectively keep myself and the young woman," he nods at Ash, "out of the fight. They'll also know what we're doing as soon as we start, so it will be a contest of our will against theirs.
But it should give the rest of you enough time to go in, find the king and get him out." Cerdian tells them.
