The coughing reminds Katima of the hostile nature of the environment and she frowns a bit.
"We're going to get to a safe place, you and I, but to do so I need to do something very special." With a reassuring smile, she diverted some of the energy that was creating a shield between herself and the harsh alien world and enveloped Yason in it.
"You should be able to breathe a little easier now."
