Katima is struck again in the exchange of blaster fire, but again she is able to take down her assailaint. This strike, though, only serves to exacerbate her previous injuries and her forward motion even with the powers of her ring, slows further. It slowly sinks in that she may not make it back.
And then, she sees a blur in the sky, one that she knows so well. Alerron.
"We're going to make it, Little Prince. Alerron is coming for us."
She carefully puts Yason on the ground and points out Alerron to him.
"See? We are saved."
And then, she collapses.
