Prince Yason holds on tight to Mar'i because 1) she told him to do so and 2) she smells good and 3) because she is very pretty.
He has decided that he will marry both her and Katima in thanks for saving him. The woman in the armor is a little frightening, but he does not let it show. Mother said that he should never show fear, so he won't.
He does consider making Aleea his general, though.
