"I do not think of life in such negative terms. It invites one to wait for bad things to happen so that one can have an external excuse for not controlling their own world." Damien tells her.
"For example, I want my life to be enjoyable every moment. Kissing you would make it extremely enjoyable, so I will." he says, walking over and kissing her lightly.
"And life is enjoyable."
