Damien's expression becomes one of annoyance, quickly shifting into anger.
"Of all the times he could choose to stroke his ego over some decades old vendetta, he chooses /right now/!" Damien says, his fist slamming on the table.
"Something is wrong with this. First, Slade rarely, if ever, misses. This Roy Harper should be a dead man. Secondly, Father's only been caught a handful of times in the past, but never for long. The Detective is one of the few who's managed it.
Do you suppose he /wanted/ to be caught?" he asks.
