Jane chuckles again. "I know you're going to try. I can't stop you from doing this either, so I'll try not to beat you up over this latter."
She tilts her head and one eyebrow goes up. "Girlfriend? Why, I like the sound of that."
So that's what they are then. Good, she really does like that. "I like it when it ends happily, which it normally does."
