"Your usual blend should just be finishing percolating, Ms. Finch," Caulder assured her. He opened a drawer in his desk, removed a candy bar, peeled back the wrapper, and took a bite. He chewed thoughtfully before he continued.
"I apologize for the early morning call... but these are matters which simply cannot wait."
