Kissing him again was better than the first time. This time instead of being in a slightly awkward position she was relaxed, one hand very gently on his chest as she kissed him back. When the kiss broke, she wrapped her arms around him, mindful of his broken ribs and hugged him.
"Thank you," she whispered.
