Sitting behind him, this was the first clear look she'd ever really gotten a good look at him, despite the number of times she'd barged in on him mostly naked. Even when she was wrapping his ribs she didn't pay much attention to his skin, but now her fingers were acutely aware of the various scars and markings on his flesh.
It put a lot of things into perspective.
"Dex, I'm sorry for always giving you such a hard time."
