"I do not know who you are, nor do I care. It is unwise to stand between an assassin and his prey, but even more foolhardy to stand between a man and his wife." Damien says quietly, pressing several buttons on the console at his desk.
"I have a counter-offer. You will return my wife, my father and my servant to me without delay and I will see fit to ignore the fact that you have just thrown your life away by challenging me. If any harm comes to Lian because of you, you will beg me to die." Damien tells him.
"The Batman was a worthy opponent, and currently not on my list of people to destroy. Your invoking of his name not only threatens you, but him as well. Are you /certain/ you wish to court death for him as well as you?" Damien asks.
