Her associate had already dealt with the family on their dig in Egypt--and would remain their until she had dealt with the son--but the Ghostly Lady would enjoy dealing with Rex Stewart personally.
For too long, the Hawks had troubled her beloved, gentle, Jim.
She had waited this long for her revenge... a little while longer would not be unendurable.
She passed into the museum easily, appearing before Rex Stewart.
"Rex Stewart," she intoned, "I bring you tiding from the other side. Tidings... of death!"
