With as much restraint on her strength as possible, Calypso slapped Lian.
"You did mess up. You abandoned us to try and track down your own mother. You didn't think about how you couldn't possibly accomplish your goal. You didn't think about the repercussions your actions would have on the people you brought together here. What was the point of this team if you were just going to leave? And you tried to make Tim and J'anna the leaders in your absence? Do you really think I was going to take direction from either one of them when I didn't, and still don't, really even known them?
"And right now, you're thinking about abandoning us all again. How is leaving going to fix what you did, Lian? You need to learn from your past mistakes. You need to own up to them, and start making things better by sticking around and proving yourself. I'm giving you the option right no to earn back my respect as a friend and teammate."
Calypso looked at Tim for a moment and glared. He was right in taking part of the blame. But he already knew why he took part of the blame, so there was no need to Calypso to remind him.
"So stay, Lian. Because leaving isn't going to make things better."
