Rex still hadn't been able to pull the knife out of his back, and by the stars swimming in his field of vision, he could guess that Savage had hit something important.
But she and her little group of jackasses weren't walking away from this if he could help it. Especially not anyone with the name of Savage.
Rex draws back and attempts to drive the head of his mace into Savage's rib cage. It's not going to piece skin, but breaking a few (or all) of her ribs, or even puncturing a lung, would make Rex very happy right now.
