The whole Brownstone was somber and while most everyone else was in the common areas, Nic was not. Instead, she was in Mickey's room and pacing the space in a pair of ridiculous heels.
"Okay, Rayner. I'm wearing the blue ones. Your favorite ones. I can do this all damn day."
