Who: Bernadine Ford, Steven Suzuki
What: Bernadine goes to the library to research when she thinks she might have actually cast some magic. Steven snoops.

The first time she cast a spell it was something of a fluke.

It was lumos and she thought for a good long while it was just something all wands did; in her mind any old muggle could pick up a wand and make it glow if they thought about it hard enough. It had to be a built in thing. She'd have to ask Pepper if her research turned up fruitless; she wasn't going to bug her cousin when Dresden Academy had a very impressive library.

She wasn't nearly as excited as she should have been, maybe a bit jittery. If she could actually cast... ( Well, it would change a lot of things. )

Who: Maddy and Riley
What: Maddy surprises Riley with a corset and a challenge to disrobe her and it quickly goes downhill.
When/Where: Thursday, March 8th. His dorm room.

Maddy never quite knew what to expect with Riley. It was both entertaining and irritating. This afternoon she hoped it would be the former.

What: Cheerleading practice is going "great" after all the tensions Carly's stirred up and things quickly denigrate.

Marina was about to punt Carly in the back of the head.

If it weren't bad enough being a general bitch to everyone all the time anyway. Carly seemed to have perfected the art of taking out her social frustrations out on all of them at practice. "Have you always been this useless?" she asked one of the younger girls. "From the top until Rachel gets it right."

( Marina groaned and rolled her eyes toward Tina. )

Who: Thorn and Prof. Morse
What: Professor Morse has an idea regarding Hawthorne's summer vacation.
When/Where: Friday, March 9th. Prof. Morse's office.

Thorn was sitting in Morse's office yet again. It wasn't for any particular offense or concern. Rosenthal had spoken with Morse about Thorn's progress as an art TA, which was turning out to be a surprisingly good arrangement. This was mostly just to check in with Thorn, to see where he felt he was at.

His work in potions had progressed to the point that he could possibly TA for advanced if he continued his studies over the summer. Morse had an idea brewing in the back of his head, one he was certain wouldn't get much support for from the Hulett oligarchy. For this particular troubled youth he was willing to put his own money into the pot.
