Who: Ed McMillan and Ashleigh Barton
What: Flying!
Where: On the grounds
When: Evening, Monday September 6
Rating: PG
Status: Incomplete

Ed loved flying. He loved it. His goodnatured conversation with Ashleigh, though? Convincing her to let him take her up for a flight? That hadn't been wholly because of his love of flying. He knew he was an idiot for chasing after a girl who was betrothed to someone else, but it wasn't like he was looking to put a ring on her finger. A little flirting, maybe a little kissing if he was lucky. Really, though, he'd take an excuse just to be near her.

Ed had been pleased to note that he'd had to hold on to the girl tightly to reassure her that she wouldn't fall. He had to work to keep the smirk from his face as he thought about how nice it was to take up a girl who was afraid of heights. It was definitely something he used to his advantage as he wrapped his arms securely around her, bringing her so close to him that he could feel her breath against his cheek. It was intoxicating.

Some time later, he was bringing them down and he flashed her a bright grin as their feet touched the ground. Some of her hair had fallen forward into her faced and he reached forward to brush it back, out of the way. Without thinking about the possible consequences of his next action, he found himself leaning forward to brush a kiss over her lips. He couldn't help himself. With her face flushed like that and her heart still beating fast against his chest, all he could think about was tasting those perfect lips that were so close to his own.

To be perfectly honest, Ashleigh didn't want to go to class. This was... amazing, for lack of a better word. She definitely didn't want to stop. She knew they couldn't stay here all night, though.

She hummed and whimpered softly as their mouths worked together. Her body was pressed flush to his, but she wrapped her arms tighter around his shoulders, almost as if she couldn't get close enough. How could this feel so good? How had she not known it was supposed to feel this good? It scared her to think that she might have gone her entire life without knowing how amazing this could be.

She nodded when he told her that they should get to class, but she didn't even try to push him away when he pulled her back into the kiss.

"Two more minutes," she requested between kisses. "We can go then..."
