So, I guess this is where I'm supposed to write about my friendship with Kristen. Kristen and I have been friends for over 6 years now and still going strong. I didn't want to read Sarah's story because I wanted to write this from my mind and not use what she wrote to compare. We were separated by thousands of miles two years ago, she lived in Texas and I lived in South Carolina. We talked on the phone every day and stayed as close as ever. She told me she was moving 3 hours away from me to a different part of South Carolina in the summer. I convinced my parents to pick up and move to the town she was going to be living in. There's not one thing we don't know about each other and there's not one second I would rather be with anyone else. She's my angel sent from Heaven. I don't know where I'd be without her, because sometimes a girl just wants to give in and let life win, but she won't let me. As of right now, we're dating best friends and we're still with each other most every day. She's one of the two people I would take a bullet for, no questions asked. I don't have a lot of friends that are girls which is what makes our friendship so special to me. We both have a passion for photography and plan on making something of ourselves in the future and we don't ever plan on letting our friendship die. She'll be moving 3 hours away to go to College in August and I'm not sure what I'll do, but we plan on driving back and fourth every weekend to see each other. She's the only person who knows how to put a smile on my face when I've lost all hope. There's not much more to say, except that she's the one person who stood by me through an overdose (myself), a suicide (my brother), a heartbreak (my first love), and a life changing move (away from everything I knew) and for that I couldn't be more thankful.

She is, hands down, the best friend I've ever had. I had a friendship that lasted 14 years and it doesn't even come close to comparing to Stacy. She's my other half, my partner in crime, my sister and so many more. I know typically these written things go into all the hard times you've had together and it becomes a competition of who had it rougher and who got through what, but really, who cares in the end? We've had PLENTY of hard times and we're looking at a lot more up ahead (and I can't wait to tell you why when she's ready!) but no matter what, we're always together and happy and smiling. There's just this way about us that's magical. When we're together, we can never be unhappy and everyone around is will always be having a good time. We're freaking CRAZY and we wouldn't have it any other way. We really just read each others' minds a lot and that's pretty funny, we always think of the same thing in a situation or we think the same way about things and sometimes it's scary how alike we are. Freshman year, we were randomly selected to room together and the 3rd day at school, we were at a party and no one could believe we were really room mates, they all said we were too close to actually live together lol. But oh did we live together and every night was like a slumber party, I LOVED it. It was so sad when she had to transfer schools =( She had a lot of trouble here last year and yanno, we came out better through it all, but it also made me really protective of her, I never want to let anything bad happen to her, I do whatever it takes to keep her smiling, I love her smile. </center>
