Dory screams as S'ym succeeds in crushing the bones of his wrist, but it only makes the claws of his free hand harder and sharper as he continues to tear at the demon's face.
As he hears the first words of Quinn's shout, he all-but-liquefies the bones of the injured limb, pulling it back in toward his body like he would his wings in an attempt to extract it from the crushing grip. Simultaneously, he braces his feet against the demon's back so that he can push off once he gets free -- knocking S'ym into Quinn's banishing spell while simultaneously getting out of the way of it himself.
