Finding information isn't too difficult in some ways. To begin with, out in front of the opera house, there's an 18' tall statue of the Wizard in a dramatic pose, one arm held high, the other holding his helmet to his side.
People come and go in about the manner expected, except that the opera house, and all the major buildings have some sort of security devices. Everyone entering slides a card through, being greeted by a green digital readout saying 'welcome, citizen'.
The nearest newspaper shows the title 'Australia Free Press', there's also a couple of city newspapers, likewise bearing the 'Free Press' title.
