"Unfortunately, you're absolutely correct. In your case, your world was made stable by the Exiles, its no longer damaging nearby realities - but a lot of damage has been done. Heroes have died, the world was placed in a state of virtual anarchy... it will be ripe for invasion when the Shi'ar fleet comes. They will term it 'protection of a vulnerable world' - correct, to a degree, but a conquered world is a conquered world.

In Casey's case, he had a hand in the destruction of his world. When the Scarlet Witch suffered a mental breakdown, and tried to meld her powers with chaos sorcery to reshape the world - she had help. Cthon, for one, the Octessence for another - the latter in a bid to try and make Dr. Strange vulnerable. Indeed, Strange was killed, as were a lot of others, with magic gone rampant. Her powers are based, however, on probability manipulation. The mutant Forge attempted to fight back, when he came to his senses, by gathering several other probability manipulators - Roulette, the Black Cat, Domino, Crosshairs, Casey, his mother... and use his device to heighten powers to try and fight back, to fight fire with fire. Their powers protected them - and broke probability. Now, two conflicting realities are vying for control and tearing the world apart - with one in a billion odds happening daily. Planes collide, black holes open and close, lightning hits people from clear skies. The faction Casey is in, is fighting with, may eventually win - but they'll inherit a demolished world.

These are the states of your worlds right now. You will have the opportunity to change these events back to fanciful lies by helping the Exiles. Save enough worlds, and your realities may shift back the way they should be. However, the risks are real. You could fail, you could die. Several Exiles have fallen in the line of duty. The handful of you that I've been able to save from collapsing universes are all that uncounted realities have. If the Exiles fail, there isn't a second chance. I won't be able to help you outside of this place - I don't exist in 'the real world'. Any of them.

Any questions?"
