Banner needs human connections to keep himself. In this world there isn't any Rick, Betty or any other tether to his human life. His mind as atrophied, but the power of his rage remains.
He takes one to the chin. A deafening, evil-smelling roar erupts from the beast while he claps his massive hands together looking to catch this insect in his hands.
