"I'm sorry. I think the Timebroker will be around shortly to explain it but you've been unhinged from time. We have to do whatever we're told, in sometimes not very clear language, to fix timelines. If we don't then our own timeline unravels in a different way. Something terrible will happen to you or someone you love." Or in her case cease to exist. "Supposedly if at some point we've fixed enough timelines one of us can return to our own timeline but I've never seen that happen."
