Tasha was hit with the beam and went flying backward. She landed with a big thud and groaned. That was not good.
The suit's systems flickered and she prayed that they stayed on. There was a big sigh of relief when they stabilized.
She climbed to her feet and fired repulsors at him while closing the distance between them.
