"It's what it sounds like. Biochemical in the bloodstream of human mutants. We had some cases brought into a few local Lenore St. Croix Centers, blokes freaking out with 'mutant' powers who didn't turn out to be mutants, just drug addicts who'd been shot up with..somebody else's extracted blood and bile, for goodness' sake. It's not good for anybody, victim or user. Well, I guess it was 'good' for the dealers."
