Food Critic Introductions Post!

Name: Sarah

Age: 22

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Cooking or baking? Both, but I tend to cook more.

For how long? Baking since I was, wow, 8? Cooking, since forever. My mom worked a lot, so I was always the designated cook.

Signature dish: Chicken stuffed with anything I can get my hands on! Josh loves my chicken stuffed with provolone and steamed asparagus with rosemary. Steamed fresh green beans with bacon bits and homemade mashed potatos. I don't use instant, ever.

Favorite Food: I love chicken.

Favorite Soup: Creamy broccoli cheddar

Favorite Dessert: cheese cake!

Favorite Drink: Wine. I drink wine a lot.

Favorite Restaurant: The Melting Pot.

What do you usually order? We switch it up each time since its so rare we have the money to go! But last time we got the big platter with the lobster tail and whatnot and for the chocolate we got the amazing s'more chocolate.

Favorite Fast Food Place: Carls JR

What do you usually order? Bacon Guacamole burger, every time.

How often do you cook? At least 4 times a week.

How often do you dine out? Probably too much.

Favorite food blog or website? all-recipes. I also use stumbleupon when I am feeling really brave and I make whatever the first thing that pops up.

What will you absolutely not eat? Seafood, but I like lobster.

Any food allergies? No

Favorite kitchen utensil or machine? The cheese grater, I put cheese on anything. I also love the blender.

Are you on a diet? No

Vegetarian, vegan, carnivore, etc? Omnivore, but thinking of vegetarian,.

Are you diabetic or do you have any other problems which could limit the use of a recipe? (This can include religious restrictions, personal restrictions, etc!) No

Link us to a recipe you've been 'meaning to' try. http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/2avkyT/messycook.blogspot.com/2009/11/slice-of-heaven-chocolate-banana-bread.html

Chocolate Banana Bread.

Tell us 3 things about yourself. They don't have to be food related.
1. I have kids, but I still cook whatever. If Nathan doesn't like it, I will make him something quick.
2. I knwo far too much about dinosaurs. My son is obsessed and as a result he teaches me things. I know that the t-rex, giganotosaurus, the triceratops and others were part of the Late Cretaceous Period. Yes, that is what we talk about all day.
3. I love building with legos.
