James and Cepheus were going on their first date. They had agreed that it was a date and James couldn't get the car from his father because his father disapproved of him, but he'd taken the bus to Cepheus's house and he was going to pick him up and take him on an adventure on the tube to the restaurant or something. Cepheus was used to driving around in cars anyway. He could use a break from it. And, okay, it was raining, but James had an umbrella.

He knocked on the door to the Malfoy's massive house, hoping Cepheus was waiting for him, and tried not to cringe when Cepheus's father answered the door. Didn't they have a butler or something? "Uh, hey," he said. "Is Cepheus ready to go?"

Draco didn't approve of Cepheus's life choices. He'd come around to Oliver. Oliver had been a decent enough bloke. A little old, but nice, and seemingly harmless enough. He had done his best to impress him and Charlie and there were enough similarities between him and Charlie that Draco was willing to let the age difference slide and let Cepheus be happy, for once. But now Cepheus wasn't with Oliver. He was with James Potter, who was all over Gossip Girl for being a playboy and Draco hated it. He raised an eyebrow at Potter's question, trying to do his best impression of his own father. "He's in his room," he said. "Come in. If you and Cepheus are going to date, we should be reintroduced."

"Should we?" James asked. He felt like he'd met Draco Malfoy more than enough times. "You know me," he said, attempting his best smile. "Cepheus and I have known each other since we were little kids."

James grinned down at Cepheus. "They're staring at us because we're hot," he said, brushing their lips together. "We're hot and also gay. They're just a bit weird about us and also kind of turned on and intrigued."

He moved his hand off Cepheus's bum. "I'll save my groping for the theatre," James promised, grinning down at him. "Do you want to take the tube shopping tomorrow? We could buy your oyster card before we go."

	"We can take one of his cars if you promise it'll be dirty," James said, grinning at Cepheus. "I'm totally fine with that, as long as your driver doesn't mind the show." 	Cepheus wasn't going to point out the obvious. That James could have held him like this years ago if he hadn't been an idiot. Instead, he kissed his neck and ran his fingers through James's hair. "Sounds like a good way to kill us both. Let's do the divider thing," James said, smiling at Cepheus. He looked up when they pulled into the next stop. "Come on, this is us."

He pulled away, but took Cepheus's hand in his, leading him through the crowd on the platform. "When we get to the top, we use the oyster card to get through the turnstiles again. That way they know how much to charge us for however far we've gone."

	James laughed at that, leading Cepheus towards a chip shop. "I guess I do," he said. "When I'm on dates with rich princes who aren't aware of how the other half lives. I don't know how Uncle Charlie stays grounded with all the money you lot have." He opened the door to the restaurant for Cepheus. "They should be able to do your shake here." 	Cepheus nodded, poking James in the stomach for slapping his bum. "I'll find us the best seat in the house. Promise." He leaned in and kissed James deeply for a long moment, then pulled back. James found Cepheus after placing their order, propping up the plastic number he'd been giving on the table and sitting beside the other boy, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and ignoring the phones. Whatever. They could handle Gossip Girl.

"You ready for out Gossip Girl debut tomorrow? I didn't realize so many people would recognize you here," James said, glancing around. "I guess they've probably read about you in the tabloids."

"I didn't say that I didn't. But, I'm not going to be snogging you all over facebook either." Cepheus grinned at James and then sat back when their food was delivered. He immediately grabbed a chip and dunked it into his shake, popping it into his mouth.

"You're going to have to do more than that. Oliver had it easy because my father knew nothing about him." Cepheus pointed out, chewing. "You're going to have to woo him. Wine and dine him."

"I hope not. Having your babies?" Cepheus laughed, resting a hand on James's thigh under the table. "Probably kick straight through my stomach or something. It would be completely unbearable."

Cepheus ate a bite of his burger. "I don't know. My Dad is really tricky. If we're going to be allowed to go out more places, you're going to have to get him to at least tolerate you."

Oliver's babies. He thought that he and Oliver would make really lovely looking children. But, he wasn't about to tell James that. He'd just ignore that bit for now and not say a word. That would be trouble.

"No. Charlie will get him to come around, but that doesn't mean he's going to trust you." Cepheus looked James over. "God. It's difficult for me to think about any plans when I'm thinking about blowing you."
