At first, there seems to be little reaction. The ice was designed to hold the Destroyer, after all. Then there's a crack of thunder in the sky, and a bolt of lightning crashes down inches from where Captain America struck. Then another, then another. The ice lights with a faint blue glow, and begins to crackle with more electricity, seemingly from within.

There's one more crack, this time from the ice itself, and a jagged crack runs up its surface, before it splits wide, dropping the God of Thunder to the ground, head bowed, on one knee, recovering, but clearly alive.
