In a remote part of Montana there was a secret underground bunker. The bunker was one of AIM and HYRDRA's secret research facilities.

All that was visible on the surface was a small concrete building with a door and no windows. There was an electrified fence around the place, but no other apparent security measures. Beneath the ground there was a huge facility that housed a number of experiments and housed a squadron of HYDRA soldiers and a dozen AIM scientists.
