Gabriel felt the punch, and was sent across the room and into the wall, and then the ground. He arched his back in pain, and the fire from the wall quickly caught onto his wings again. He just couldn't cut a break with the damn fire.
And then he saw her; Laurie. He didn't realize she was under Scarab's control.
"Laurie! Get out of here!"
He slowly made his way to his feet and then over to Scarab and the pyro again. He saw the blood transfer again, and knew it had to be exhausting to Scarab to give so much blood in such a short time. He kicked at Scarab's head, and then at the wooden desk leg again. But the pain he felt was crippling, and he didn't know how much longer he could last.
