Mikhaila figured she'd do that - which is fine. She's ok playing back and forth with that, even if it'd be nice to just be able to put her out and have done with it.
But while Cait needs to concentrate to use her powers, Winterkill can use her's automatically - which leaves her enough focus to twist the ankle as viciously as she can, trying to snap it.
