A minute after Mikhail and Natasha left the restaurant, Lili stepped outside and watched them drive away. She's taken the next booth and listened to their conversation as she ate admittedly better Thai food than she expected to find in a tiny little American town. It was clear something else happened to the young prince. As frustrating as her duty was, it was doubly so when she couldn't be there to protect him openly. Even if their intel indicated he wouldn't like it. Perhaps his mother would help if it because necessary to include her.
She got into her car and followed at a discreet distance to make sure they returned to Xavier's safely.
