Boom Boom blew another bubble and more explosives flew from her hand. It was odd, that she made exactly four each time and they were all the same size. Never growing larger or getting smaller... never any more or less in number.
Beast rebounds as he lands and is flying at Eliza once more, large hairy feet first, "Oh my stars and garter! Did you hear that Boom Boom? We don't want to kill her! She believes she's become a telepath and can dictate our actions!"
"Jedi mind tricks ain't working on me, Big Blue," Boom Boom returned with yet another volley.
Overhead, the noise increased in level as sirens began to wail an overly cheerful circus ditty.
