"Because you are a mistake," the knife thrower replied. "And now you have grown into a failure. You can't even free yourself from this simple trap. You rely too heavily upon your powers and so you pay the price."
Another two knives landed. One at the edge of the wheel, somewhere above Irina's head and one just between her neck and shoulder. The latter, luckily, drawing no blood.
"I am disappointed. I had hoped for so much more from you."
