Joey nodded at each of them in turn as they introduced himself, putting his cards back in his pocket. They all seemed pretty close, and the vibe he sensed between them gave him the idea that they'd all endured something bad recently.
He didn't know what, but he could read people pretty well.
"I'm glad to to be part of the Midnight Snack Club. Just keep the broccoli and cucumbers where I can see them and we'll get along just fine." he smirked.
